Your new company
Our worldwide known multinational media conglomerate is looking for new colleagues in the position of International Reporting Manager. This is a new possibility to building up a new team and work globally.


Your new role


General:
  • Act as a point of contact to the Cluster Controllers, Local Finance and RTR teams within the regions assigned to the role for AR, Balance Sheet and non-programming controlling related matters.
  • First line of consolidation and review of cluster reporting deliverables prior to cluster controller sign off.

Reporting:
  • Consolidate, review and submit cluster PY P&L and Balance Sheet Flux Commentary.
  • Prepare country based financial management pack for CFO & FDs (may apply to UK only)
  • Review and submit the AR template reports.
  • Review non-programming roll forwards. (Includes programming RFs for Asia)

Controlling:
  • AR reporting items follow up – involvement in monthly Bad Debt call.
  • Coordinate GRIR process and resolution of aged items together with local teams including local Financial Controllers and Finance Directors.
  • Participate in monthly pre-close calls for countries within the cluster with RTR and local teams, as well as the regular RTR calls.
  • Partner with GBS on judgmental accounting issues and approval of certain journal entries.
  • Participates in the preparation of quarterly clearance cluster presentation.
  • Act as Trintech Admin person for the cluster, making sure all items are dealt with and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintain control and manage balance sheet reconciliations prepared by multiple parties.
  • Monitor and report account reconciliations’ status and quality.
  • Participate in GL metrics calls per each country in the cluster

Statutory:
  • Review the statutory reporting process of the cluster (overall status updates and highlight significant issues) and validation of stat to GAAP reconciliation.
  • Lead financial statement preparation for smaller entities (corporate/dormant entities).
  • Support in the implementation of the new STAT platform together with cluster and local teams as well as the stat team in Budapest which will be responsible for statutory financial statement preparation for all required legal entities.

Other:
  • Ensure that all relevant key controls are in place and functioning properly in accordance with internal policies and procedures and Sarbanes Oxley rules and regulations.
  • Review of corporate income tax returns and their reconciliation to G/L.
  • Assist in the preparation of training material such as accounting standards and processes on PTP, RTR and OTC.
  • Assist with ad hoc and internal management requests.


What you`ll need to succeed 


  • BSC/MSC degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 4+ years relevant post qualification work experience in a broad range of accounting functions
  • Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles, concepts and processes
  • Team player with the ability to work with and communicate with people at different levels within the organization
  • Ability to work well in a matrix environment
  • Ability to be aware of the audience and adapt message and communication style accordingly
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform effective work load prioritization and management
  • Demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter and take initiative and follow through
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and present communications geared for varied audiences
  • Drives and implements improved business processes for the business and within functional area
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to be thorough with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written & listening)
  • Business English (B2/C1 or above)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Outlook, Internet Explorer, MS Project, MS SharePoint)
  • Prior Big Four experience a plus
  • CPA, ACCA (or equivalent) a plus
  • Prior entertainment & media experience a plus
  • Experience in HFM, Longview and SAP a strong plus
